Job summary The purpose of the post is to provide a comprehensive medical equipment acceptance, repair and planned preventive maintenance service for Anaesthetic machines, Ventilators, transport ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP devices, Insufflators for the Trust, involving complex and non-routine activities.This post involves work of a much greater responsibility and autonomy and may include the supervision and training of other Medical Equipment Technicians.To provide technical advice to clinical staff, managers, and clinicians.The work involves travelling to all sites where Trust staff and equipment are based; with a travel allowance payable if the post holder's own transport is used.The core hours for this job role is Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
