Interim SHEQ Manager
Rate: ~£350 - 400/day (Outside IR35) (DOE)
Duration: ~3 months (potential for extension)

Are you an experienced health and safety interim professional with a background in waste and recycling, based in Derbyshire?
If so then you could be an excellent fit for an Interim SHEQ Manager role. The role is focused on promoting a positive health and safety culture and to improve health and safety performance across the company. This is a regional role covering multiple sites with the main office based in the Derbyshire area.
Responsibilities of the Interim SHEQ Manager will include:
* Ensuring the site is compliant with both UK legislation and in line with wider Group strategy for Health, Safety and Environment
* Auditing Health, Safety and Environment performance, accurately reporting and investigating any incidents, accidents or near misses
* Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including senior management, operational staff and external regulators
* Leading on new initiatives and always seeking opportunities to improve and develop Health, Safety and Environment performance
* Supporting on the development and improvement of the ISO management systems 9001, 14001 and 45001
The successful Interim SHEQ Manager will have:
* Proven experience in a similar role within waste, environmental services or a related industry
* NEBOSH certificate or equivalent and ideally membership of a relevant professional body (i.e IOSH)
* The ability to influence and engage with all levels of the organisation
* An enthusiastic and positive approach to health and safety
