We are looking to recruit an Area Cleaning Coordinator who will be responsible for the cleaning of Residential Care Homes across Lancashire. These Homes provide essential services to elderly and vulnerable people. Keeping them clean is as important as the assistance the home provides. Building users demand high standards of cleaning, so prior experience of supervising cleaning staff is desirable; however full training and ongoing support will be provided. Due to the nature of the working environment a high level of confidentiality and discretion is required. Ensuring adequate resources are in place in line with the cleaning requirements of a building and ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to meet the needs of specific building functions. Monitor and reviews the work area to ensure a high-quality service delivery and to maintain a safe working environment ensuring Health and Safety policies and ISO9001 standards are adhered to. Ensure defects and breakdowns are reported to the relevant authority with all correction paperwork completed and up to date. Deal with and solve problems that arise in service delivery. Plan and organise day to day tasks with responsibility for a geographic area of work for a large number of cleaning operatives. Contact point for Cleaning Supervisors and reporting back any issues or areas for improvement. Induction and training of Cleaning Supervisors and Cleaning Domestics. The role is required to respond to reports of absence, recruitment and selection of staff, induction and training, staff communication and procedure updates ensuring quality standards are met. Ensuring stocks of consumables and equipment are well maintained and a clear process of communication in reporting stock levels and raising orders and organising repairs etc. A vehicle will be provided to undertake this role.
