English Teacher Location: Caldicot Start date: February 3 rd 2025 – July 2025 Pay: £166.32 - £220 per day. Hours: 8.30am – 3pm. Teaching Personnel are currently looking for an English Teacher to work within a Secondary School in Caldicot. You will be working with pupils between the ages of 11-16. The successful candidate would be working in a flourishing English department. The school pushes its pupils to achieve the very best academic standards in all its subject areas. Ideally the candidate would have a minimum of one year’s teaching experience, but newly qualified teachers will also be considered. This role has an immediate start date with it continuing until the end of the academic year. If notice period is a factor, we may also be able to accommodate a later start date. Responsibilities Helping students to become independent learners. Assign homework and stimulating exercises. Be comfortable teaching alongside the current curriculum. Delivering engaging and challenging English lessons to students. Building positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians. Provide constructive feedback and guidance on written assignments and essays. Requirements Enhanced Child Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS). EWC registration. NQT’s are encouraged to apply.
