FM Operations Manager Essex based Local Council Hybrid working - 2 days per week on site The role: The role will support the Head of FM in the delivery of a high-quality facilities management service in accordance with the Corporate, Directorate and Service Plan, supporting the delivery of both hard and soft facilities management services to the highest standards. To provide building surveying services to support the corporate capital programme, manage reactive repairs, and assist with overseeing the procurement and management of all FM related contracts and contribute to the formation and development of the strategic service plan. To lead a multi discipline team, consisting of Security, Property Operations, FM Helpdesk, Information Hub, Mailroom and Reprographics service. Spread over several sites. Key Skills and experience: Ability to lead, manage and motivate a team with credibility generating support and commitment from colleagues Ability to influence and work with senior stakeholders to drive organisational change and workforce improvement Must have at least 5 years post qualification experience Must have at least 3 years experience of working in a public sector property or FM team Must be able to attend the office at least 2 days a week and live within an hour of Gray's Must be able to start on 1st of April 2025 and therefore not have a notice period that would effect this.
