Job responsibilities Workforce Provide direct line management to clinical and non-clinical PCN staff. Undertake annual appraisals of reporting staff. Undertake formal HR processes under the guidance of HR advice when needed. To ensure that staff are supported to undertake training and development opportunities. To effectively plan and manage the workload of reporting staff. Project Management To plan and deliver at-scale projects on behalf of the partnership, ensuring clear and effective communication with staff (for example, flu campaign). To produce reports on delivered projects assessing their impact and benefit. To propose quality improvement for current contracts and enhanced services. To liaise with external stakeholders effectively, ensuring the partnership is always represented in a professional manner. To ensure delivery of the PCN DES is completed and evidence recorded. Other To organise meetings as required, collating papers, chasing and disseminating actions, and recording accurate minutes. To support with other work as required by the partnership or senior management team. To carry out audits and reports for data evidence as required (e.g., enhanced access). Financial Responsibilities Check coding and claims for accuracy to ensure the practice is being paid fairly for work undertaken. Complete ARRS workforce claims via the Workforce Portal. Carry out financial appraisals of various contracts and services within the business to identify areas of improvement. Quality Assess own performance, take accountability for own actions and to manage own time, workload, and resource. To maintain high quality and accurate recording of care-related activities relating to enhanced services and contracts such as CBS. Information and Knowledge Maintain knowledge and information to assist other staff members in the continuous improvement of medicines services for patients. To undertake additional tasks as required by the GPs or management team which are reasonable and in line with the principles of this job description. To strive to continuously learn and develop oneself to support with successful delivery of the role. Knowledge and Experience To work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience implementing service improvement projects to improve patient care. Willingness to learn and disseminate new knowledge and skills to others. To be polite, professional, and approachable always when within the business. Able to work with autonomy, with strong personal organisation, self-reliance, and motivation. EMIS clinical system/Accurx/MS Teams/Foundry To be proficient in MS applications including Outlook, Excel, Work, PowerPoint, and other related software packages. Work collaboratively with all colleagues and outside agencies.
