Passenger Terminal Shift Senior RAF Brize Norton, Carterton, Oxfordshire, OX18 3LX Permanent, Full time (39.5 hours per week) £27,382 per annum plus benefits At RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire, Serco has been providing multi-activity and engineering support since 1997. Serco proudly support the RAF and MoD, supplying around 20 different services onsite, from engine and aircraft maintenance, to fuelling and ground control services. RAF Brize Norton is the largest operating base within the Royal Air Force, providing air transport and air-to-air refuelling to the RAF fleet. Serco at RAF Brize Norton are looking to recruit a Passenger Terminal Shift Senior. The Shift Senior is required to oversee all aspects of passenger pre-flight check-in, security, aircraft boarding, aircraft deplaning and post flight arrivals, whilst ensuring high levels of customer service and service excellence. Mandatory Requirement: Must be fully trained and qualified in the use of the MoD’s Aircore Passenger Booking System. Key Accountabilities: Effectively manage the shift and staff in alignment with the Serco Management System and the organisation’s core values. Direct, control, and supervise to ensure that shift Passenger Service Agents adhere to correct working practices and SOPs when processing passengers, as delegated by the P&CSM. Ensure that sufficient staff are available to cover all planned tasks. Collate all relevant aircraft paperwork and check for accuracy prior to handing over/delivering it to the DAMO/DDAMO (Duty Air Movements Officer) upon completion of passenger loading. Collect all card payments for indulgence flights and excess baggage. Ensure receipt paperwork is correctly filled out, secured, and handed to accounts. Report any unserviceable facilities to the P&CSM and ensure a job is raised with the relevant section. Allocate tasks and ensure that shift personnel are fully conversant with Immigration regulations, weapons and passenger manifests, and documentation requirements for all UK, EU, and non-EU passengers. Ensure that BAGLOs and lost property are brought to the attention of Pax Plans. Monitor and advise the DAMO of late arrivals of passengers and the ‘shut out’ of flights.
