About the Role We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Tissue Culture Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Associate Director of Protein Sciences, the successful candidate will have experience with cell culture techniques and help run our cell culture lab, working together with our Tissue Culture Facility Manager, helping the company achieve its challenging goals. Candidates should be comfortable with our agile, start-up culture and fast-paced, dynamic working environment. Key responsibilities Routine maintenance of cell lines Carry out transfections for protein expression Establish ion channel cell lines for KnotBody discovery Help the discovery team with Mammalian Display technology (e.g operating and maintaining MaxCyte electroporator for library generation, handling cells for MACS and FACS) Analyse, interpret and effectively communicate data verbally and in written form to team members Solve problems on a day-to-day basis Candidate Profile The candidate will ideally possess a BSc in Life Sciences (e.g Cell Biology, Immunology) with experience in working with cell culture.
