Role Overview:
Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Land Manager to join our Regeneration and Partnerships team in Middlesbrough. As Land Manager you’ll be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing opportunities to create great places to live and high-quality affordable homes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
You’ll be establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with local authorities, agents, landowners and other developers across the North-East and Yorkshire to secure both immediate and longer-term land opportunities.
You’ll also collaborate with internal teams and colleagues to ensure all opportunities fit with our uncompromising standards for our customers.
Using ProVal, you’ll assess the viability of opportunities and undertake financial appraisals.
You’ll need to negotiate and prepare detailed investment reports for approval, working closely with our in-house legal team to progress contracts to exchange and completion.
About You:
We’re looking for a Land Manager who is proactive and ambitious, with a sound knowledge of residential development, land acquisition, alongside the associated legal agreements.
Ideally, you’ll have a good contact base of developers, contractors, and agents across the North East and/or Yorkshire and be able to maintain and build those external relationships.
You’ll have a good understanding of affordable housing and be competent in preparing ProVal development appraisals, as well as in writing detailed and accurate reports.
