All about the role
Based at our Barrett Engineering Steel, Willenhall site, we have a key sales opportunity available for a driven, passionate and experienced Business Development Manager Trading, to continue to build and develop an already strong portfolio of customers, building long term mutually beneficial relationships.
Duties will include:
1. Personally lead negotiations with existing and potential trading customers. Creating & building on strong and consistent relationships to allow us to trade with businesses supplying similar products and services to market.
2. Manage the end-to-end Sales process for clients from engagement to sale, to delivery.
3. Ensuring that effective systems of control and information exist, routinely monitor sales performance against plan in order to maximise profit potential
4. Work closely with operational teams to understand operational capacity
5. Seek to secure profitable new market share and gross margin growth through a combination of new business and new product sales through lowest cost to serve.
6. Manage all customers, ensuing an excellent level of customer service and satisfaction
