Job summary UHD is seeking to appoint a motivated and committed Allied Health Professional to the post of Head of Therapies.This prestigious role offers you the chance to play a critical role in developingthe therapy services at a time where we are shaping our new organisation. We have established a strong Directorate structure under each of the three Care Groups, and Therapy services are centralised under oneteam with the Head of Therapies role, whilst continuing strong links to other clinical directorates. The Trust has developed close links with both Bournemouth University and Health Sciences University as part of new partnerships and are planning training and development opportunities as well as growing future workforce locally. You will be an experienced therapy manager looking for an exciting opportunity to work with some dedicated staff to re-shape services and build for the future. The post holder will work closely with our Associate Director of Allied Health Professions & Healthcare Scientists supporting the Trusts commitment to developing this workforce. The successful applicant will be supported to take the next step in their career by widening their portfolio and increasing their levels of responsibility within the improvement, quality, governance and transformation organisational agendas.
