Our client is a well-established leading firm of solicitors based in Sheffield. They are a forward-thinking organisation and one of the leading law firms in South Yorkshire well known for delivering excellent levels of client care. The successful candidate will deal with complex wills and probate matters, lasting powers of attorney, high net worth estate and trust administration as well as Court of Protection work whilst working closely with the Private Client Operations Director on business development and contributing to wider business objectives. The role would be suitable for an experienced Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Fee Earner looking to take a leading role within an established Private Client team whilst managing a varied caseload. Candidates must have at least 10 years’ PQE or the equivalent level of experience if non-qualified and demonstrable experience of Business Development. Other essential criteria include: Excellent and comprehensive knowledge of all wills and probate work including high net worth estate and trust work Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including word and outlook Experience in progressing cases with the use of a case management system Excellent communication and client care skills Expert drafting skills Strong organisation skills Clear verbal and written communication skills Ability to summarise and present complex information in a clear and accessible way Innate ability to work methodically and accurately with an excellent attention to detail Proven record of business development Strong presentation skills The department is Legal 500 recommended and regulated by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
