The hours on offer are 36 hours per week, covering one night shift per week and two day shifts per week. Shift times are 08:00 - 20:00 / 20:00 - 08:00.
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Nursing Home Team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, manage medicines, and work alongside other professionals within a Nursing Home setting.
Duties
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
* Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on observations and feedback.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Provide emotional support to patients and families during challenging times.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care effectively.
* Lead a small team daily to ensure all documentation is kept up to date.
Requirements
* Valid registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
* Proven experience in patient care, preferably in a home health or community setting.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to inform patient assessments and interventions.
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
* Compassionate approach with a strong commitment to patient advocacy and ethical practice.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules.
