What’s the role?
We’re looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead our team in Bristol Eastgate. Reporting to the Area Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for managing your store and driving its success. You will focus on maximising sales, meeting KPIs, and creating a highly engaged and high-performing team. You’ll lead from the front, with a hands-on approach, making the store a great place to work and shop.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing the store’s daily operations, from stock control to customer service.
* Leading and motivating a team to exceed sales targets and deliver top-tier performance across all KPIs.
* Building a positive and fun work environment that inspires and engages your team.
* Ensuring the store meets all health and safety requirements.
* Providing excellent customer experiences, ensuring Pets at Home lives up to its reputation as the Best Pet Care Business in the World.
Who are we looking for?
* You’ll have at least 2 years of retail management experience, managing a team of 10 or more in a fast-paced environment.
* You’re passionate about retail and have a track record of achieving outstanding results.
* You’re flexible and able to work a 7-day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
* You’re a strong team player with excellent communication skills, able to engage and inspire your team.
* You’re excited to undertake 6 months of industry-leading training, covering everything from customer service and pet care to health & safety.
