Job Duties:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Spanish Language Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Spanish language lessons to students of varying levels. You will also be responsible for assessing student progress, providing feedback, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must hold a valid teaching qualification and certification in Spanish language education. You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a thorough understanding of the UK education system and curriculum requirements.
Education:
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Spanish language or a related field.
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience teaching Spanish language to students of varying levels. You should also have experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
Knowledge and Skills:
We are seeking a candidate who is fluent in Spanish and has a strong understanding of language acquisition principles. You should also possess the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, as well as excellent organisational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, a postgraduate qualification in education and experience teaching Spanish in a UK school setting would be highly desirable. Experience with language immersion programmes is also a plus.
Working Conditions:
The Spanish Language Teacher will work in a school setting, following the academic calendar. In addition to delivering lessons, you may also be required to participate in parent-teacher meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
