About Us:
Our client is a leading construction company known for delivering high-quality projects across the North West. Projects include a mix of new build and refurbishments in the following sectors - commercial, residential, leisure, education and more. Project range in value from £5m up to £30m. They are now looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team.
Role Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will lead teams, coordinate with contractors, clients, and stakeholders, and handle all logistical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and manage construction projects from initial design to final completion.
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
* Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Oversee site activities, managing workers, subcontractors, and vendors.
* Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders to review progress and address concerns.
* Handle procurement and contract negotiations with suppliers and contractors.
* Monitor and mitigate project risks, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
* Ensure compliance with building codes, local regulations, and environmental standards.
* Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry (minimum [X] years).
* Strong understanding of construction processes, project management software, and relevant regulations.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
* Proficient in MS Office, project management tools, and construction software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
