The role offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust seeks an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time hours per week. What will your responsibilities be? As a consultant in adult psychiatry, your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments. You will evaluate adults to understand their mental health challenges, considering their personal history and symptoms. Based on these assessments, you will formulate individualised treatment plans tailored to each person's needs and goals. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with various healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Your role will also involve overseeing therapeutic interventions, including medication management and crisis interventions. Regularly monitoring and evaluating the progress of individuals is essential. You will adjust treatment plans as needed to optimise care. Additionally, you will contribute to risk assessments and management strategies, ensuring the safety and well-being of those in your care. This role requires both clinical expertise and a compassionate approach. Qualifications and Experiences: You must have a full GMC licence to practice Relevant previous experience working in this type of position Section 12/RC approval is essential Approved clinician status is desired but not essential How to apply?
