LV=GI is currently seeking a highly skilled Crime Systems Support Consultant to join our team on a 12 month secondment at our Bournemouth office. This role is pivotal in supporting our business with industry crime systems, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with customers to drive system development initiatives, provide best practice and compliance guidance, deliver training, and monitor systems while fostering key business relationships.
This is a hybrid role working a minimum of 2 days per month in the office.
Salary: Circa £33,500
Role Description
1. Conduct system monitoring activities to ensure consistent use and develop best practice guidance.
2. Develop and maintain compliance guides.
3. Deliver training to core operational teams using various tools.
4. Provide subject matter expertise at key internal and external meetings.
5. Conduct professional user acceptance testing (UAT) of systems.
6. Maintain, develop, and track system change requests.
7. Review system monitoring feedback to identify risks and development opportunities.
8. Engage with system/software providers on technical matters.
9. Support the team’s involvement in onboarding new products and other business-led projects, acting as a subject matter expert for the systems within the team’s remit.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement.
* Passionate about delivering change.
* Ability to troubleshoot system issues positively and collaborate with different teams for optimal outcomes.
* Proactive with the ability to manage own workload effectively.
* Good understanding of claims and/or policies.
* Knowledge of industry financial crime prevention & detection systems such as Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB) IFI-HUB, Insurance Fraud Register (IFR), and CIFAS.
* Knowledge of financial crime investigation tools.
* Comfortable updating working practices for internal or external use.
* Proficient in using Microsoft applications.
* Ability to set up and lead meetings with set agendas and manage actions.
Desirable Skills
* Working knowledge of Jira.
* Ability to create and execute test scripts.
* Experience in managing small to medium-sized system changes.
* Knowledge of Agile project management.
* Exposure to the insurance broker and retail market.
* Experience in a similar role.
* Experience in using Splunk.
* Knowledge of SQL and its application in enhancing testing processes, including SQL batch processing.
* Ability to establish strong rapport and networking during business-led initiatives.
* Experience in attending and processing PI planning meetings and converting them into actionable user stories.
* Conduct thorough analysis and determine necessary changes from business-led initiatives for crime systems planning.
* Effectively lead meetings and manage projects, including conducting the required testing on projects.
* Define project requirements for significant initiatives, such as Toxicity, Product migrations, and other changes.
