With a strong market presence and a commitment to innovation and efficiency, this company is looking for a detail-oriented and commercially minded Financial Analyst to join their finance team in Milton Keynes.\n\nDescription\n\nFinancial Analyst\n\nAnalyze production costs, material usage, labor, and overheads to identify variances and provide actionable insights.\nConduct monthly cost variance analysis against budget, forecast, and standard costs.\nPartner with operations and supply chain teams to understand manufacturing drivers and variances.\nSupport the standard costing process and update costs as required within the ERP system.\nAssist with the preparation of management accounts, monthly commentary, and financial reporting packs.\nMonitor and evaluate inventory valuation, stock provisions, and work-in-progress balances.\nCollaborate on the preparation of budgets and forecasts with detailed cost assumptions and justifications.\nPrepare capex business cases and post-investment appraisals.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost control and process efficiencies.\nEnsure strong internal controls and compliance with financial policies and procedures.Profile\n\nA successful 'Accounts Receivable Analyst' should have/be\n\nPart-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent experience.\nExperience in a manufacturing or production environment is essential.\nStrong understanding of cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.\nProficient with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.\nStrong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.\nExcellent communication and business partnering skillsJob Offer\n\nA competitive salary range of approximately £34,000 - £37,000 per annum.\nGenerous holiday leave.\nA positive and inclusive company culture.\nOpportunities for professional development and career growth.We warmly encourage all relevant candidates to apply for this exciting opportunity in the manufacturing industry located in Milton Keynes
