The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the marine defense sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in marketing, public relations, and communication within the defense industry. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and enhance our brand reputation. This professional will complement the delivery of the business five-year growth strategy, this position will co-ordinate key marketing and research activities for strategic business development areas. Reporting to the Business Development Director — Growth Hub the Marketing Consultant will carry out business macroeconomic and specific critical market research on key markets, to identify future trends, understand available Er accessible markets, core competencies and competitor analysis. The role will also support day to day activities by helping to arrange visits, assist in the preparation of presentations, brochures and other marketing literature and administrative support for the Commercial Team Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development: Create and implement effective marketing strategies that align with business goals and target specific segments within the marine defense market. Campaign Management: Design and execute innovative marketing campaigns from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and objectives. Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics within the marine defense sector, using insights to inform strategy. Content Creation: Develop engaging content for various platforms, including websites, social media, and industry publications, to attract and retain target audiences. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, defense contractors, and industry associations, to enhance brand visibility and credibility. Performance Measurement: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimise future efforts. Event Management: Organise and participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote company offerings and network with potential clients. Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales objectives, providing support for lead generation efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus. 5 years of experience in marketing management within the defense or marine sector. Proven track record of developing successful marketing strategies and campaigns. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with digital marketing tools and techniques is preferred.
