Job Description Vehicle Mechanic Job type Full-time Permanent contract of employment Job Role: The successful candidate will be required to perform vehicle fleet inspections, carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs including the replacement of parts. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Completion of jobs from general servicing to fault finding, working on LGV/HGVs, Fork Lift Trucks, Telehandlers, and other heavy plant and equipment, ensuring repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures in a safe and responsible manner. The successful candidate should be hard working, a good team player with excellent communication skills and good attention to detail. You should be willing to develop your skills on an ongoing basis in line with the growing business. Essential: Good mechanical knowledge P revious plant maintenance experience Experience working on HGV Vehicles Desirable Full driving licence Qualification in a mechanical discipline Forklift Licence IPAF Licence HGV/LGV License Salary negotiable based on experience. Hours of business Monday to Friday, 8am –5pm 40 hour week O ccasional Saturdays 8am – 1pm at time and half rate.
