We are hiring for a 3rd Line Exchange Support Engineer to be based in Basingstoke with some travel to other sites in London. This is a permanent role and requires SC and/or DV Clearance. Salary on offer is between £55K - £60K + Bonus and Full Benefits. You will either hold SC/DV Clearance or be eligible.

Responsibilities:
As a 3rd Line Exchange Support Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated 3rd Line and Engineering team, providing expert-level support for Microsoft Exchange and related technologies. You will assist a high-profile user community via an incident logging system and receive specialist training on Legacy infrastructure.
Your Experience & Skills:
1. Microsoft Exchange (2013 or later) - Strong understanding of Exchange architecture, services, and troubleshooting.
2. Collaboration & Communication Tools - Experience with LCS, OCS, LYNC, and SharePoint (2003/2007/2010).
3. SharePoint Expertise - Experience with SharePoint Designer, workflows, and web parts.
4. Active Directory (AD) - Deep knowledge of forest/domain architecture, replication, and disaster recovery.
5. Exchange Components - Proficiency in Exchange Database, OWA, Mail Flow, Public Folders, Free/Busy, and clustering (CCR, SCC, SCR & LCR).
6. Backup & Recovery - Experience with backup applications, Exchange database restoration, and high availability features.
7. Security & Networking - Understanding of ISA, VPN, RAS, DNS, SAN, and Server Hardware/RAID.
8. Troubleshooting & Monitoring Tools - Proficiency in using Exchange Best Practice Analyzer, MPS Reports.
9. ITIL Best Practices - Familiarity with ITIL methodologies for structured service management.
