Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, metal fabrication, and the ability to interpret technical drawings. You will play a crucial role in manufacturing high-quality components and structures, ensuring precision and durability in every project. Key Responsibilities Welding : Perform MIG, TIG, and/or ARC welding tasks on various metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium, depending on project requirements. Fabrication : Use a variety of fabrication techniques, such as cutting, shaping, bending, and assembling metal parts. Blueprint Interpretation : Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication. Equipment Maintenance : Operate and maintain welding and fabrication tools, including grinders, saws, and plasma cutters, ensuring they are in good working condition. Quality Assurance : Inspect completed welds and fabrications to ensure they meet company and client quality standards. Safety Compliance : Adhere to health and safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of equipment and materials. Problem-Solving : Identify and resolve fabrication and welding issues during the production process. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator, preferably in [specify industry, e.g., manufacturing, construction, etc.]. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or ARC welding techniques. Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Familiarity with a variety of tools, machinery, and welding equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials. Preferred Qualifications Relevant certifications in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME, or NVQ). Forklift or IPAF license. Experience with CNC machinery or CAD software is a plus.
