ICP/EV Project Manager
Boyd Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced EV/ICP Project Manager for a Global Energy and Retail Solutions provider based in Scotland.
Our client operates across several markets but is particularly strong in the petrochemical industry with several long-term clients who have a healthy pipeline of future projects.
They are looking to source a Project Manager with a strong background in EV/ICP. This is a unique opportunity for an individual to establish themselves within a rapidly growing business and become a future leader.
The Job
1. Project Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive project plans, encompassing scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements.
Lead project teams in executing tasks and activities according to the project plan.
2. Stakeholder Engagement:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues to keep stakeholders informed.
Manage communication chains between project managers and project teams.
3. Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
Implement risk management strategies and contingency plans.
4. Budget and Resource Management:
Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
Collaborate with resource managers to allocate and manage project resources effectively.
5. Quality Assurance:
Implement and enforce project management methodologies and quality standards throughout the project management team.
Conduct regular project reviews to ensure compliance with established standards.
6. Timeline Adherence:
Ensure projects are delivered on time by closely monitoring project timelines and taking corrective actions when necessary.
7. Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of project deliverables.
Provide support and guidance to project managers to ensure successful collaboration and delivery of projects adhering to internal and external quality standards.
The Person
Previous experience within an ICP is essential!
1. Professional qualifications such as APM, SMSTS, and NRSWA.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the EV or related industries such as utility networks.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation through to completion.
4. Strong understanding of EV technologies, charging infrastructure, and industry trends is a big plus!
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide, inspire, and motivate project teams.
6. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
7. A willingness to travel nationwide when required.
