We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to help lead key transformation projects, ensuring they’re delivered with the expected outcomes, on time, within budget, and aligned with the highest quality standards.
You’ll manage one or more projects as part of NPL’s ongoing internal transformation, bringing high-level proposals to life by turning them into defined plans and mobilising teams for delivery. You’ll also join us in improving how we work. Use your experience to challenge the status quo and discover more innovative and efficient ways to deliver projects safely and effectively.
The Senior Project Manager plays a crucial role in driving projects to completion and ensuring we actively deliver the expected benefits. You’ll contribute to our project management excellence by collaborating with colleagues, providing the proper governance, and focusing on delivering tangible, valuable results. Role responsibilities include:
1. Lead and Deliver: Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring they align with business goals, stay on time, and budget, and deliver the expected outcomes.
2. Plan, Scope, and Budget: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, clearly defining scope, resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
3. Team and Stakeholder Leadership: Mobilise teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders, influencing key decisions to keep projects aligned with broader objectives.
4. Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks early and address issues proactively to prevent them from becoming obstacles.
5. Innovate and Improve: Drive innovation in project delivery, while continuously refining processes and methods to enhance outcomes.
6. Ensure Safe Delivery: Ensure projects are delivered within risk tolerances, fully compliant, and seamlessly handed over for operational success.
7. Own the Results: Take accountability for project success, enabling the realisation of benefits and achievement of business objectives.
