Full job description Job Description To further our expansion, we are now recruiting for a new DevOps Platform Engineer to align to our direct-to-consumer development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping deliver continuous improvement for our award-winning client facing applications. What does the job involve? Agile methodologies and a passion for continuous improvement and building a high-performance engineering team To guide and mentor the team to design and deliver high quality products Consider architectural and non-functional requirements and work with the team to deliver scalable solutions Contribute to the design, management & maintenance of our AWS hosted infrastructure covering our dev, UAT and production environments. Hands on with the ability to have direct impact on the future of our products and platforms You will be working closely with other engineers across development, architecture and devOps Provide a resilient, scalable and secure platform Problem management and root cause analysis Appreciation of costs management, actively monitoring monthly cloud spend Competence, Knowledge and Skills Containerisation (Docker and AWS ECS or similar) Linux and Windows, with emphasis on scripting and automation. Automation tools, focusing on deployments through CodeBuild and CodePipeline. AWS-based capacity and performance logging and monitoring solutions. Experience in architecting and building solutions to support highly available and scalable web sites, mobile apps and public APIs.
