We are looking for Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and Speech and Language Therapists who are ready for a new challenge in our award-winning multidisciplinary team.

Our team works to support children and young people (and their families) by identifying and addressing their holistic needs, advocating for them in multi-agency meetings, and ensuring they receive the care and support they deserve. Main duties of the job
Your Role:
* Assess and support the holistic needs of young people and their families, providing interventions or facilitating access to further support.
* Advocate for young people, ensuring their views are heard in multi-agency settings.
* Collaborate with professionals from health, education, and social care sectors to deliver tailored, evidence-based interventions such as Positive Behavioural Support.
* Co-facilitate consultations and share expertise within your professional field, contributing to the development of the team's clinical practice.
* Receive ongoing CPD and training opportunities to further enhance your skills and expertise.

Qualifications
* Professional registration
* Degree in registered profession
* Additional specialist post-graduate training relevant to clinical area (e.g. Sensory Processing, Sensory Attachment Intervention, specific psychological therapies)
* Training/experience of PBS
Experience
* Significant post-graduate experience in specific area
* Experience of carrying out supervision to junior staff, coordinating the care of clients and delegating tasks.
* Experience of working with children and young people with learning disabilities and/or autistic young people
* Experience of contributing to service development

* Ability to demonstrate teaching and mentorship skills and work effectively as part of a team.
* Ability to work autonomously and independently.
* Ability to record and retrieve information on charts/paper and electronic patient records.
* Ability to undertake PMVA training to required level for role. Understands the legal responsibilities of the profession at all times.
* To be up to date with professional and evidence-based practice and new research.
* Demonstrates an understanding of recent legislation and guidance and its impact on the NHS.
* Able to develop positive working relationships with a range of professionals.
* Able to demonstrate a good standard of English language.
* High standards of written communication skills with the ability to use email and internet.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers, and relatives about complex and sensitive issues remaining sensitive and empathetic.
* Good organisational and planning skills, ability to manage own time and plan activities for staff and patients.
* Access to transport with appropriate Business Insurance to travel throughout the Somerset area.
* Open-minded, treats colleagues, patients, carers, and relatives with dignity and respect. Intuitive and caring nature. Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the patients and the service.
