Position: Service and Repair Engineer Location: Lincolnshire Area Salary: £41,651 per annum £1,500 Out of Hours (OOH) Allowance Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role: My Client is looking for several skilled and reliable Service and Repair Engineers to join our Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) team, supporting social housing in the Lincolnshire area. This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real difference in the maintenance and repair of homes for local residents. As a Service and Repair Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of reactive repairs and planned maintenance within social housing properties. Your expertise will ensure that residents' homes are safe, secure, and well-maintained, while delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Conduct a variety of reactive repairs and planned maintenance tasks within social housing properties across Lincolnshire. Diagnose and repair faults in plumbing, electrical systems, heating, and general building work. Ensure work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards, following health and safety regulations. Maintain excellent communication with tenants, providing top-tier customer service. Respond to emergency out-of-hours calls when required, with an additional OOH allowance. Complete all required documentation, reports, and job sheets in a timely manner. Work closely with the wider team to ensure smooth operations and effective problem-solving. Essential Requirements: Proven experience in the service and repair of housing-related maintenance, especially within the social housing sector. Relevant trade qualifications in plumbing, electrical work, or a similar field. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Full UK driving licence (travel within Lincolnshire required). Willingness to work out-of-hours shifts when necessary (OOH allowance provided). What We Offer: Competitive salary of £41,651 per annum.
