Your new companyWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Temporary Finance Assistant to join our clients' team in Oxford for a 3-month period. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for processing invoices, updating purchase orders (POs), and performing various finance administrative tasks using Xero. Your new role
* Invoice Processing: Accurately process and record invoices in the accounting system.
* Purchase Orders: Update and maintain purchase orders, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
* Financial Administration: Assist with various finance-related administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document management.
* Xero Management: Utilise Xero for all financial transactions, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
* Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving any discrepancies.
* Communication: Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice and PO queries.
* Reporting: Generate and distribute financial reports as required.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Experience: Previous experience in a finance assistant role, preferably with experience using Xero.
2. Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
