What Will The HR Assistant Role Look Like?
* Providing essential administrative support to ensure the operation of the HR department runs smoothly.
* You will be office-based and responsible for tasks such as managing documentation, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with general administrative duties.
* Part of the role includes coordinating meetings, which involves arranging schedules, preparing materials, sending out invitations, and taking clear and accurate minutes during meetings to ensure timely follow-up.
* You will support the HR Manager with day-to-day tasks, such as handling routine inquiries, drafting correspondence, and assisting with HR projects as needed.
* Day-to-day handling of confidential documents and sensitive information, whilst ensuring that all HR matters are treated with the utmost professionalism.
* Represent HR in business meetings, in the absence of the HR Manager.
* Support internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department.
* Enter employee data into the computer database.
* Support the HR Manager on all matters.
* Support all aspects of HR including staff selection & recruitment, employment, leavers, etc.
What We’re Looking For:
* CIPD Level 3 or working towards.
* Organised and efficient.
* Ability to follow GDPR and handle sensitive information.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills including active listening skills.
* Excellent telephone manner.
* Understanding of Laws and Legislation.
To be successful in this role you will be educated to a degree level and previous experience of working within an HR Department is preferred. CIPD qualified or working toward it. Must have the right to work and be based in the UK.
