Employment Caseworker
Location: Croydon/Sutton/Richmond/Kingston
Salary : £30,
Please note, this role is on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
As an Employment Case Worker on our Work and Health programme, you will be focused on providing employment support to individuals with a range of hurdles. You will encourage, support, and empower participants through their journey towards employment. You will manage a caseload of participants and will understand each participant's individuals needs to help plan the support they require to get back to work.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Building effective and positive relationships daily.
2. Challenging your participants to identify and overcome any potential barriers and help put realistic targets in place for them to meet to ensure a sustainable outcome.
3. Ensuring participants have an up to date and professional CV, supporting statement and covering letter, tailored appropriately for each application.
4. Provide job search support, guiding participants to register on appropriate jobs boards and ensuring their digital profiles are up to date and visible to employers.
5. Support participants in preparing for job interviews, conducting mock interviews and assessment activity.
6. Meet all monthly performance targets and key performance indicators.
7. Meet Commissioner Customer Service Standards by ensuring contractual compliance requirements are met through quality and effective notes and actions on our internal computer system
8. Making the right connections with local services, through a multi-agency approach, to coordinate a focused package of support for each participant
9. Working from local hubs, and pop-up offices in your community or alongside integrated services to increase service accessibility

Experience Required:
10. Working in a fast paced, evolving environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
11. Experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs, including health conditions and disabilities
12. Ability to build rapport with, inspire, motivate and challenge participants
13. Working in a performance target driven environment, with KPIs
14. You can communicate, persuade, influence, and listen to others.
15. You must be computer literate and be able to input data accurately
16. You must have a working knowledge of Microsoft tools e.g., Word and Excel.
17. You must be able to follow processes and clearly articulate participants progress via our internal computer system
