Teaching Personnel, an education-based agency specializing in supporting SEN schools and colleges, is working closely with a college in Wimborne that caters to young adults aged 16-26 with high-functioning Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), high anxiety, and mental health needs. We are currently looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to fill a range of short-term and long-term roles to support these pupils in their learning journey.

The Role:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, helping them access the curriculum
* Support students with social interaction, emotional regulation, and independent learning
* Assist with behaviour management and help students build confidence and self-esteem
* Work closely with the teaching team to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
* Adapt to both short-term and long-term assignments, depending on the needs of the college
We’re Looking For:
* Experience in supporting students with Autism, anxiety, or mental health needs is essential
* A calm, patient, and compassionate approach with a strong ability to build relationships with young adults
* Experience in behaviour management and an understanding of trauma-informed practice
* A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to different environments and student needs
* Availability to work across both short-term and long-term placements
