The Role As our Volunteer Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and expanding our volunteering program. This newly established position offers a unique opportunity to create a vibrant volunteer community that will significantly enhance our services and patient experience. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic volunteer recruitment campaigns Design comprehensive induction, training, and mentorship programs Manage day-to-day operations of the volunteering program Establish and monitor KPIs for volunteer contribution and satisfaction Create innovative volunteering opportunities aligned with healthcare needs Develop policies and procedures ensuring best practices and compliance Represent Provide at regional and national forums Manage volunteer budgets and produce impact reports Organize volunteer recognition events and implement reward systems What We're Looking For Proven expertise through education, work experience, or a combination of both Proven track record in volunteer management Strong leadership and management capabilities Excellent communication and people skills Organizational and administrative proficiency IT and data management skills Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities Desirable Qualifications and Experience Previous NHS or healthcare sector experience Understanding of patient experience principles Knowledge of voluntary sector best practices Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Skills and Attributes Advanced Excel skills and statistical analysis abilities Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels Strong negotiation and diplomacy skills Proficiency in managing multiple projects with competing priorities Experience in delivering projects to strict deadlines Skill in presenting complex information clearly and concisely Personal Characteristics Compassionate and empathetic Flexible with a 'can-do' attitude Meticulous and initiative-taking Committed to continuous improvement Adaptable to work across multiple sites and occasionally outside standard hours What We Offer Competitive Band 7 salary 37.5 hours per week with flexible working options Opportunity to make a real impact in healthcare and community services Supportive and innovative work environment Professional development and networking opportunities Join Our Team At Provide Community CIC, we believe in the potential of every individual.
