A dynamic accountancy practice based near Brentwood are looking for someone to be the payroll lead for a small portfolio of their clients whilst offering you the opportunity to work with a diverse range of businesses. This is an exciting position offering a salary up to £35,000, 35 hour week, a great pension scheme and more. As a Payroll Administrator you will: Accurately process monthly payroll for multiple clients. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, pension contributions, and statutory deductions (e.g., PAYE, NIC, student loans). Maintain payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Act as the first point of contact for client payroll queries. Assist clients with payroll-related compliance and best practices. Provide advice on tax codes, deductions, and statutory payments (e.g., sick pay, maternity pay). Resolve payroll discrepancies and liaise with HMRC where necessary.
