As our Assistant Bar Manager for The Kennels Members Club, you will assist in managing the day-to-day operations, including bar related meetings & events. Bringing great energy, attention to detail, and a creative mindset you will help create a vibrant atmosphere through seamless service and genuine WOW moments for our members.
The Kennels is the central clubhouse for all the Estate's Sporting Members – be it horseracing, golf, motorsport, aviation, or health club enthusiasts. It is the perfect place for our members to relax and enjoy superb food in stylish surroundings.
You will play a key part in our customers’ experience, supporting a strong team, including supervisors, bar staff and casuals. Utilising your great people skills, you will thrive on inspiring, coaching and training the bar team to reach their full potential.
Delivering a personalised experience to our broad spectrum of members and guests, you will see first-hand that no two days are the same. You could be teeing up a golfers' breakfast, welcoming guests for a relaxed afternoon coffee, or working on a lively and buzzing music event; all in The Kennels' own inimitable style.
What you'll have:
1. Previous experience in similar role within a food and beverage environment
2. Knowledge of bar products including spirits, wines, beers, ales, and cocktails
3. An understanding of cellar management, stock control and rotation
4. Passion for providing exceptional customer experiences
5. Enthusiasm for what you do
6. Genuine passion for creating an exceptional Bar experience
