FP&A Manager - £60,000 - Blackburn - Retail PLC Your new company We are partnering exclusively with a globally renowned retail company seeking a qualified accountant to join their expanding team as an FP&A Analyst In this role, reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will significantly contribute to the development and enhancement of the FP&A function, adding substantial value from a commercial perspective. Your new role Develop and improve FP&A processes, systems, and tools to support strategic and operational planning, ensuring the company is ready for scaling. Supervise the month-end close process from an FP&A perspective, including data collection, posting revenue/cost accruals, performing variance analysis, and presenting key results to the Executive team. Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term planning processes in partnership with the Executive team and Finance team. Offer analytical support to both the Finance team and other business stakeholders, addressing ad hoc requests and providing actionable insights. Work closely with the Data team to create a finance KPIs infrastructure for better decision-making. Manage and mentor a small team of financial analysts, prioritising workloads and ensuring the smooth execution of financial processes What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong understanding of financial processes and systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver actionable insights. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring and developing team members. Proficiency in financial software and tools, with advanced Excel skills. ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
