Job Summary: As an Inventory & Stock Control Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the stock control and delivery of parts essential to vehicle builds. This role requires close collaboration with the logistics, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate inventory, efficient delivery processes, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Oversee and maintain accurate inventory records for all prototype vehicle parts, ensuring alignment with build schedules. Kit Creation: Assemble vehicle kits in partnership with Build Engineering to meet daily build requirements. Stock Coordination: Manage carry-over stock from initial request to delivery at the production line. Requisition Tracking: Track and expedite internal requisitions for timely approval and part delivery. Documentation: Keep all tracking documents up-to-date and ensure goods are appropriately logged as received. Collaboration: Work with logistics teams to promote a collaborative environment and support team goals. 5S and Safety Compliance: Apply the 5S methodology to maintain organized storage areas, promote safety practices, and uphold values. Skills & Experience: 5S Methodology: Trained in and experienced with 5S practices. Manufacturing and Warehousing Knowledge: Strong understanding of inventory control in a manufacturing environment. IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP products preferred. Material Planning: Experience in material planning and control, ideally within the automotive sector.
