Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated health visitor, applicants must hold or be working towards a specialist community public health nurse (SCPHN) qualification in Health Visiting. Main duties of the job As a SCPHN health visitor you will lead and develop a family centered public health approach, working with individuals, families and communities to improve health and tackle inequalities. You will be committed to deliver evidence based practice, maintaining current knowledge of local and national issues that impact on the 0-5 population. As a specialist practitioner you will be required to professionally contribute to the on-going development of the health visiting offer within the Early Help Locality Teams. You would be supported to fulfill your role through induction, training, shadowing and a preceptorship package tailored to your individual needs.
