D1 Driver - Minibus - Passenger escort driving - West London
Adecco are supporting a London Borough Council team in a service role as a D1 Driver in the Children's Social Care & Health team.
16 seater minibus - need D1 licence
£13.98 + p/h PAYE - also, Umbrella options available at a higher pay rate but without holiday pay
20 Hours per week
This is a very rewarding role, although it may have certain challenges, your day will be taking children to and from school, along with another staff member. You will be making their day to day lives much easier and smoother, being a real positive impact on peoples lives
1. Driving SEN (special educational needs) passengers to and from school AM drop off and PM collections.
2. Split shift hours working from 07:00-10:00 and 14:30-17:30
3. D1 license required to drive our varied fleet of automatic/manual 16 seater minibuses (Wheelchair compatible)
4. Drivers will be paired with an attendant on the vehicle.

Duties
5. Drive minibuses
6. Work from a passenger list
7. Be responsible for vehicle safety
8. Carry out safety checks on vehicle
9. Lawfully use mobile phone and communicate with team and necessary contacts
10. Assist passengers as necessary
11. Attend meetings when required
12. Undertake other non-passenger duties when required
Must Have's
13. "D1" driving license - Minibus / 16 seater license
14. CPC and Tigi Taco license
15. Able to work during shifts as above
16. Happy for us to complete a DBS criminal background check
An ideal candidate
17. Council environment understanding
18. Experience of working within a Social setting environment
19. Social care / Recycling experience
20. Understanding of all necessary vehicle needs
21. Ability to create and amend basic maps and photographs using digital tools
