Team / division overview DWS Internal Audit has over 40 staff located in New York, London, Frankfurt, Hong-Kong and Japan and is responsible for delivering high quality audit reports covering all relevant activities of DWS in Continental Europe, US, UK and Asia. DWS Internal Audit adds value by providing independent and objective assurance to the Management Board of DWS and its group companies (“Group”), on the adequacy of the design, effectiveness and efficiency of the risk management system and the systems of internal control. The Internal Auditor works with other teams from across the function and outside the function. Using these contacts, while working under limited supervision, they are to provide 'front-to-back' audit coverage and actively contribute to the delivery of team plans in support of the functional and business strategies. Lastly, they may occasionally participate in ad-hoc projects and investigations. Role Details: As an Internal Auditor you will (be): Conducting high quality audits. Scoping audits, drafting audit reports, validating issues closure. Partnering with the global audit team to evaluate the control environment of the DWS business, understand the risks related to the Business, and identify deficiencies within internal controls. Engaging with business stakeholders to stay abreast of changes to the control environment and the risk profile. Assisting in conducting Asset Management risk assessment for the UKI region and contribute to risk assessment/business monitoring. We are looking for: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline Professional certification CIA and/or CFA is preferred. Previous relevant experience within financial services in an Internal Audit role covering Asset Management products such as Alternatives, ETFs and private Markets (CLOs) The ability to multi-task assignments and prioritise workloads with minimal supervision. Ability to take ownership and responsibility of agreed targets and deliver on your commitments within budget, in order to ensure timely and efficient completion of audit project. Understanding of internal control, risk assessment concepts, audit methodology, and strong analytical skills. Proven communication and presentation skills.
