We are currently recruiting for an interim Deputy Children's Home Manager to cover maternity leave.
Duties involve:
1. Supporting the Children's Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.
2. Providing leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring a high standard of care and safeguarding for all children and young people.
3. Ensuring that all regulatory requirements, including those set by Ofsted, are met.
4. Fostering a supportive and caring environment, promoting the well-being and development of children in care.
5. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
6. Leading by example, maintaining a professional and compassionate approach at all times.
Key Skills and Experience:
1. Previous experience working in a children's residential setting is essential.
2. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures, and regulatory frameworks.
3. Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent (Level 5 preferred).
4. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
5. A commitment to providing the best possible care to vulnerable children and young people.
