HLTA – Irlam (M44) A specialist provisional school are utilising Teaching Personnel in their search for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to begin as soon as possible. This is a full-time role that may involve some Planning, Preparation and Assessment cover with small groups of pupils. This Academy Trust school boasts a special setting for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. This is often linked to learning or communication difficulties. Senior leadership require a Teaching Assistant with SEN/SEMH experience who is comfortable managing behavioural disruptions. The school offers a wide curriculum from Entry Level to GCSE. Maths, English and Psychology graduates are encouraged to apply. The incoming Teaching Assistant will split their time between PPA cover and general support throughout the school. In particular, the successful applicant will work with Key Stages 3 and 4.
