Role: Supply Teaching Assistant
Location: Southampton
Contract: Supply (Flexible, short-term/long-term assignments)
Salary: 12.90 P/H
Key Responsibilities:
Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons to students of all ages and abilities.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who need extra assistance.
Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive, productive learning environment.
Assist with classroom organization and preparation of materials.
Support children with additional needs, including special educational needs (SEN), when required.
Promote the emotional, social, and academic development of students.
Key Requirements:
Experience working with children (in a school or childcare setting preferred).
A caring and patient nature with the ability to support children of various backgrounds and abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive and proactive approach to supporting students and teachers.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
