My client is a well known organisation who provides a substantial service to the construction industry. They require a HGV Mechanic to carry out routine maintenance and repair on all types ofmercial vehicles.
Your new role
You will be required to carry out the following:
1. Routine maintenance and repairs on all types ofmercial vehicles within our extensive fleet,, engine servicing, brakes, clutches, etc.
2. Diagnose faults usingpany diagnostic software, rectify faults, and liaise with the Stores department to attain the correct parts as required.
3. High level of customer service.
4. Ensure all jobs and service records arepleted accurately and on time.
5. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and ensure safe working practices are adhered to.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need the following to be considered for the role:
6. Previous demonstrable experience as a vehicle mechanic.
7. Experience of diagnostic tools and equipment.
8. Experience working on diesel engines.
9. A relevant mechanical qualification would be advantageous.
10. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
11. The ability to work well within a small team and produce a high standard of work.
12. Full driving licence.
