Our client is expanding their team and looking for an experienced Mortgage Administrator to join them in the Ilford area with flexible working options. The ideal candidate will be hardworking and reliable, with at least one year of experience in the mortgage industry, and will bring a positive, enthusiastic attitude to the role.
Working hours:
1. Monday to Friday
2. 9:00 – 17:00

Mortgage Administrator requirements:
12. Experience in the mortgage industry vital
13. Excellent written & verbal communication skills
14. Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
15. Positive & enthusiastic attitude with the ability to prioritise our customers’ needs and requirements at all times
16. Ability to work under pressure and problem solve, both independently and part of the team
17. Computer literate and familiarity with Microsoft office
18. Well organised with excellent time keeping
Key duties of the Mortgage Administrator will include but will not be limited to:
19. Dealing with incoming calls, emails, post and voicemails
20. Responding to any non-advisory queries in a professional and timely manner
21. Liaising with solicitors, lenders, estate agents and brokers to progress mortgage applications from start to finish as quickly and seamlessly as possible
22. Ensure our customer service database is kept up to date and all information held is accurate and that team members are also keeping the systems up to date/correct
23. Keeping clients & associated parties updated on the status of their applications, ensuring every step of the customer journey is as clear and stress free for the client as possible
24. Inputting cases onto the system, ensuring all details are accurate and all documents have been received in line with our compliance policies
25. Inputting mortgage/insurance applications accurately and efficiently and completing suitability reports to send to the client with all required initial information.
