This is an exciting opportunity for a clinical support worker to join a diverse and motivated team that are dedicated to the development of skills and the delivery of high quality safe care.
As a caring and positive person you will need to be able to work as part of an established team and have the ability to work flexibly.
Main duties of the job
1. Competent in venepuncture, cannulation and central line care
2. Competent in performing ECG's
3. Be able to prioritise workload
4. Be a good team player
5. Assist meeting the comfort and hygiene needs of patients.
6. Assist with taking and recording patients observations.
7. Report to registered staff all concerns about patients' conditions.
8. Use initiative in planning daily and weekly routines.
9. Promote a professional, welcoming and uncluttered environment, keeping all areas safe, clean and tidy.
10. Assist in unpacking, checking and storing supplies delivered to the area, reporting when stocks are low.
11. Prepare beds, trolleys and equipment
