Maintenance of vacuum and jetting systems on a variety of models and manufacturers.
Responsibilities:
1. Fabrication & modification of body equipment and associated parts to suit customer requirements.
2. The ability to identify faults to all systems, correctly diagnose repairs, and identify parts required.
3. Working in service repair and remounted vehicle teams where demand is required.
4. Completion of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical works.
5. Accurately identify parts required and amend stock profile where required to improve first fix.
6. Completion of all paperwork in a timely manner to the required level of detail.
7. Communication and feedback on progress, providing accurate input to customer reports when required.
8. Identifying opportunities for additional work required.
9. Weekend working may be required to support customer requirements.
10. Any other ad-hoc duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Vehicle Electrics.
2. Pneumatics.
3. Hydraulics.
4. General Mechanical Skills.
5. Fault finding skills.
6. Welding capability and the potential opportunity to become coded to repair vehicle tanks.
7. Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship.
8. Knowledge of commercial vehicles, complex engineered products, or agricultural machines would be beneficial.
