Job Overview We have a fantastic opportunity for a Print Finisher to join one of our Paragon Group sites. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role is to manage the Operation of mechanised print finishing equipment to ensure that all customer orders are finished to a high-quality standard. Two Shift options available; 42 hour week, Shift rotation - Week 1: Monday to Thursday 6am to 2.30pm and Friday 6am to 2pm / Week 2: Monday to Thursday 10.30 to 9pm, Friday off 37.5 hour week - Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm As a Print Finisher, your main duties would include: Responsible for job movement through to Dispatch Department and complete safety checklist on all machinery prior to operating General hand finishing and Assembly work as required To pack items in accordance with job card and in number of packages by shrink-wrapping, identifying each package with a pack label and sign job cards for process complete To select appropriate box size ensuring correct quantity packed and select appropriate pallet size ensuring they are in a suitable condition for transport of goods To seal box and label indicating: - Job number - Quantity of packs - Quantity per pack - Date - Customer order number - Delivery address Corporate Packing – ensure item is checked against job card for delivery instructions and that item is scanned as complete To consolidate orders where available To dispatch orders via various carriers and run manifests Housekeeping – cleaning of brushes, containers, cleaning down of machinery and own area of work ensuring all tools used are returned to the tool board Undertake any other reasonable duties which may be requested of you by the management team Be responsible, along with other staff members for compliance with health and safety regulations for yourself, other staff, and visitors Skills and Attributes we are looking for Previous experience working in a Print Finishing environment is desired Proven experience working as part of a team and being able to work on own initiative Previous experience working within a production environment Excellent time management and organisational skills Problem solving skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, flexible and ability to multi-task Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels Demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm Have good attention to detail, thorough and analytical Various Employee Benefits included Please note that due to the high volume of responses we receive, only successful applicants will be contacted.
