As an Advanced Occupational Therapist, you'll manage a challenging and diverse caseload, conduct strengths-based OT assessments, and apply person centred principles to promote well-being and positive risk-taking. You will provide professional support and training on occupational therapy matters to Occupational Therapists, and other team members. You will manage a busy caseload of complex work undertaking strengths based occupational therapy assessments using person centred practice principles to assess, support plan and review with the aim of promoting well-being and positive risk taking. Main duties of the job You will collaborate with healthcare professionals and social workers for optimal outcomes, conducting assessments, setting goals, creating personalised reablement plans and providing supervision and support for complex cases within your team. Acting as an expert advisor to other team members on the provision of bespoke equipment, evaluating reasoning of occupational therapists and making decisions with regard to best value, increasing independence and reducing risk.
