We have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Coordinator to join our HR team in York. As an Fleet Coordinator at Portakabin you will be responsible for providing and maintaining a quality administrative service relating to all areas of the company car, commercial and grey fleet within the UK. Role Details Salary: Up to £26,000 DOE and bonus Role based: York, YO32 Contract type: Permanent Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays Role Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the vehicle fleet to ensure availability, allocation and rotation as needed. Maintain up-to-date records of vehicle usage, assignments, and performance metrics. Maintenance of compliance requirements such as licence checking, driving training coordination and vehicle safety. Support in tracking fleet-related expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and repairs. Act as a point of contact for drivers, addressing concerns or issues related to the fleet. Monitor driver behaviour using telematics or tracking systems and address violations or inefficiencies. Support the Fleet Manager in accident investigation and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain up-to-date and accurate records for all fleet vehicles, including fuel usage, mileage, maintenance history, registration, insurance, and driver logs. Promote and uphold a safety-first culture, ensuring drivers adhere to health and safety regulations, including vehicle checks and safe driving practices.
